Consider Rainsville's industrial park or commercial district for your growing business

Rainsville industrial park & development

A variety of sites are available for development at Rainsville's industrial park. Our volunteer industrial development board, the mayor and city council, and other local, regional and state economic development partners are well known for working hard to meet the needs of potential park tenants.

The industrial park (see aerial pic gallery) on the east side of town is home to Rainsville Church Pew Company, Rainsville Technology Inc (RTI), EIS - a member of the Vincit Group, ABC Hospice, a Mayfield Dairy Farms distribution center, DeKalb Refrigeration, Emerson Industrial Automation and a snack-food distribution center.

Another industrial/manufacturing area on the north side of town is home to Waste Processing Equipment (Max-Pak), and Blue Scope Buildings (VP Buildings).

To contact the city's Industrial Development Board, contact the Mayor's office at 256-638-6331, or the Chamber of Commerce at 256-638-7800.

Available industrial sites

A variety of conveniently-located tracts in the Rainsville Industrial Park are ready to be tailored to suit your industrial site needs. The primary properties are 63 acres each with a maximum contiguous size of 49 acres each. Each is zoned "light industrial."  The industrial park is approximately eight miles from I-59.

See the DeKalb County Economic Development Authority site for more details about the properties.

Small business opportunities

Driven by a favorable location, readily-available space, consistent population gains, and gritty entrepreneurs, Rainsville continues to experience steady commercial growth. Our business district is an excellent choice for new retail ventures, expanding enterprises, or office relocation. It spans six-plus miles along Alabama Highway 35 (Main Street), and over 3.5 miles along Alabama Highway 75 (McCurdy Avenue). Traffic counts range from about 9,000 to over 15,000 vehicles per day depending on the location.

Currently, there are several properties available for sale and/or lease. The number of available lots and buildings changes continually, and the listings previously found on this page are not currently available. Nonetheless, the Rainsville Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor are eager to assist you if you require assistance in locating office or store space.

DeKalbCountyRealtors.com is an excellent resource for commercial properties for sale. For assistance, contact the Rainsville Chamber of Commerce, OR for assistance with the properties listed on DeKalbCountyRealtors.com, contact any Rainsville-area real estate agent.
