Tom Bevill Enrichment Center
Completed in 1994, the TBEC is one of the most utilized facilities in the area, averaging over 520 events per year. It serves as an activities center for area senior citizens who gather there daily through the week for fellowship, community functions, and a wholesome meal. The building also hosts numerous reunions, banquets, receptions, concerts, and more.
The building's auditorium features a cathedral ceiling and a beautiful hardwood floor. With a comfortable seating capacity of up to about 280, the auditorium also features a stage and a PA system. Over 200 chairs and a variety of tables are available for use at no extra charge.
An additional meeting room, the Joe Bowman Room, is available for events and meetings where a smaller crowd is expected. It can seat around 40 persons, and has its own entrance.
A kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave is also available.

Renters are responsible for cleaning up immediately following their event, OR clean-up service is available for most events for an additional charge. The rate is negotiable. The clean-up service is recommended for large events. For all-day Saturday events such as larger wedding receptions and quinceanera celebrations, clean-up service is mandatory. |

SATURDAYS shall be divided into
two halves (half one: approx. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; half two: approx. 4
p.m. to 10 p.m.) If you require a time on a Saturday that does not end
by 3 p.m. or start after 4 p.m., you will likely be required to pay
for both halves. Event times of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
are examples in which the renter would pay for both halves.

If you do not rent all the rooms, the center staff reserves the right to rent the open rooms to other renters which means it is likely that there will be two events occuring at the same time.
All RENTAL PAYMENTS are considered non-refundable.
A payment of $50 must be made within 10 days of the time you phone to book the auditorium and kitchen, or the entire building. If no payment is made within 10 days, the TBEC staff reserves the right to consider it available for other renters.
For the Joe Bowman Room, the entire rental fee must be paid in advance and within 10 days of the time you phone to book it. If no payment is made within 10 days, the TBEC staff reserves the right to consider the room available for other renters.
