Completed in 1994, the TBEC is one of the most utilized facilities in the area, averaging over 520 events per year. It serves as an activities center for area senior citizens who gather there daily through the week for fellowship, community functions, and a wholesome meal. The building also hosts numerous reunions, banquets, benefit singings, and more. 

The building's auditorium features a cathedral ceiling and a beautiful hardwood floor. With a comfortable seating capacity of up to about 280, the auditorium also features a stage and a PA system. Over 250 chairs and a variety of tables are available for use at no extra charge.Two other rooms are available for events and meetings where smaller crowds are expected. The South Room accommodates approximately 25, while the Joe Bowman Room can seat around 40. Each meeting room has its own entrance. The TBEC offers a full kitchen equipped with everything needed to serve or even prepare a meal.

COMMERCIAL RATES up to six hours, or NON-COMMERCIAL OVER SIX HOURS:
Auditorium: $150*

SATURDAY for large, all-day event:
Entire building: $300 plus mandatory clean-up

Call for commercial rates for events over six hours.

*These rates do not include clean-up. Clean-up service is available for most events for an additional charge. Otherwise, renters are responsible for cleaning immediately following their event. Please make sure you prepare the center for the next renter. 

If you do not rent all the rooms, the center staff reserves the right to rent the open rooms to others. Therefore, there could be up to three events at the same time. See the rental agreement for more information.
